Tadkeshwar Lok Kala Manch is a cultural organization dedicated to preserving and promoting the folk arts of Uttarakhand, especially from the Garhwali, Kumaoni, and Jaunsari regions. Through folk dances, music, Jaagar (spiritual folk singing), local theatre, and traditional storytelling, the organization works to keep the state’s rich cultural heritage alive.
Its mission is to connect the younger generation with their roots by organizing workshops, performances, and cultural programs that celebrate regional languages, music, and art forms. In collaboration with the Hindi Academy as well as the Garhwali, Kumaoni, and Jaunsari Academy, Tadkeshwar Lok Kala Manch actively promotes local literature, poetry, and cultural narratives, ensuring these traditions receive the recognition they deserve.
Over the years, it has successfully conducted stage shows, cultural festivals, and community events, bringing the vibrant traditions of Uttarakhand to both local and national platforms. With every performance, the organization strengthens cultural pride and safeguards Uttarakhand’s legacy for future generations

Mukesh Sati is the founder and president of Tadkeshwar Lok Kala Manch, a cultural organization committed to preserving the folk heritage of Uttarakhand. Hailing from Kafra village in Almora district and currently based in Delhi, he works passionately to promote Garhwali, Kumaoni, and Jaunsari art forms. Through various cultural events and festivals, he provides a platform for artists and inspires youth to stay connected to their roots, language, and traditions

SANJAY BHARDWAJ
Sanjay Bhardwaj is the General Secretary of Tadkeshwar Lok Kala Manch, a talented musician, and a private sector employee. Originally from Uttarakhand, he actively promotes the state’s rich folk culture through music and helps organize cultural events to inspire and engage the youth.
